Centre Director

Talent Focus Education is seeking a dedicated and experienced Centre Manager to lead their childcare facility. The successful candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and in a Director or leadership position within a childcare setting.
Key Responsibilities:- Leadership and Management: Lead and manage the daily operations of the childcare centre, including staff supervision, curriculum development, and facility maintenance.
- Curriculum Development: Implement and oversee a developmentally appropriate curriculum that supports children's physical, social, emotional, and cognitive growth.
- Communication and Relationships: Foster a positive and inclusive environment that encourages effective communication among staff, parents, and children.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure strict adherence to state and local licensing regulations, maintaining a safe and healthy environment for all children.
- Financial Management: Develop and manage the centre's budget, optimizing resource allocation.
- Staff Development: Recruit, train, and mentor staff, offering ongoing professional development opportunities.
- Parent Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with parents, addressing their concerns and providing regular updates on their child's progress.
- Collaboration and Strategy: Collaborate with the executive team to set and achieve growth and quality improvement objectives.
- Education: Diploma in Early Childhood Education, Bachelor's of Early Childhood or an equivalent qualification.
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in a Director or leadership role within a childcare centre.
- Skills and Knowledge: Profound knowledge of early childhood development and best practices in childcare. Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
- Certifications: Current First Aid and CPR certification (or willingness to obtain).
