Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Land Acquisition Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will play a key role in identifying and acquiring new sites, conducting thorough assessments and financial analysis, and working closely with our leadership to achieve our acquisition goals.

This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated professional to drive growth and expansion while developing their skills in commercial acumen, sales market analysis, and due diligence processes.

About the Role

The Land Acquisition Specialist will be responsible for:

  • Conducting site assessments and financial analysis to identify potential acquisition opportunities.
  • Closely collaborating with our leadership to develop and implement effective acquisition strategies.
  • Developing and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders, including internal teams, external consultants, and suppliers.
  • Preparing feasibility studies, undertaking sales analysis, and developing cash flow models to assess the viability of potential deals.
  • Demonstrating strong knowledge of sales rates and market trends within specific regions to inform acquisition decisions.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum of 6 years' experience in land acquisition, residential development, or a related field.
  • Strong commercial acumen, with a focus on extracting value from acquired sites.
  • In-depth knowledge of planning and development approvals processes.
  • Experience in real estate acquisitions and/or residential development.
  • Advanced analytical skills, with experience in conducting due diligence and feasibility studies.
