Lead Solar Project Land Acquisitions Specialist

Our organization is seeking an accomplished Land Acquisition Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to develop and implement strategic land acquisition plans that support the growth and development of our solar projects.

The role will be responsible for identifying, evaluating, and securing suitable land parcels for the development of our solar energy projects. This will involve building relationships with local communities, government agencies, and other stakeholders to ensure successful project outcomes.

  • Develop and execute comprehensive land acquisition strategies that align with the company's goals and objectives.
  • Conduct thorough site assessments and evaluations to identify potential land opportunities.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including project development teams, to ensure seamless integration of land acquisitions into project timelines.
  • Negotiate and finalize land leases or purchases in accordance with company policies and procedures.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports related to land acquisitions, including site assessments, lease agreements, and closing documents.
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • At least 2 years of experience in a similar position, preferably in the renewable energy sector.
  • A strong background in real estate law, property management, or a related field.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build effective relationships with diverse stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a high level of organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and make informed decisions.
