About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chair of Board of Directors to lead our Board of Directors. As Chair, you will be responsible for promoting good governance and providing effective and empowering leadership to support our CEO.

The ideal candidate will have a strong track record of leadership, governance, and strategic thinking, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders. You will be a strategic thinker with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, able to work effectively with a diverse group of individuals.

The Chair will be responsible for leading the Board of Directors, ensuring that the organization is governed in accordance with its charitable objectives and that the Board is effective in its decision-making. You will also be responsible for ensuring that the organization is compliant with all relevant laws and regulations.

We are looking for a highly motivated and organized individual who is able to work independently and as part of a team. You will be able to demonstrate a strong commitment to the organization's values and mission, and be able to communicate effectively with a wide range of stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the Board of Directors and ensure that the organization is governed in accordance with its charitable objectives
  • Ensure that the Board is effective in its decision-making and that the organization is compliant with all relevant laws and regulations
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, including the CEO, Board members, and external partners
  • Provide strategic leadership and guidance to the Board and the organization
  • Ensure that the organization's values and mission are upheld and communicated effectively to stakeholders
