### Role Overview

As the Chair of the Board of Directors for Edinburgh Napier Students' Association (ENSA), you will play a crucial role in leading the Board and promoting good governance. Your primary responsibility will be to provide effective and empowering line management to support the CEO and ensure the Association delivers the best experience for students.

### Key Responsibilities

* Lead the Board of Directors and promote good governance
* Provide effective and empowering line management to support the CEO
* Ensure the Association delivers the best experience for students
* Collaborate with the Board to uphold the Association's values and charitable aims
* Oversee the Association's governance, including budget-setting and financial reporting, health and safety, human resources, and legal compliance

ENSA exists to enable our 20,000 student members across Edinburgh and around the globe to make the most of their university experience. We represent, support, and develop Edinburgh Napier University students to be successful in their studies, try out new things, engage in and contribute to university life, be healthy and happy, bring about positive change, and have fun.
