About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced individual to join our Board of Directors as Chair. As Chair, you will play a crucial role in leading our Board and ensuring that we maintain the highest standards of governance and decision-making.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the Board of Directors and ensure that we maintain the highest standards of governance and decision-making.
  • Provide strategic direction and guidance to the Board and the organization as a whole.
  • Ensure that the Board is well-informed and engaged in all aspects of the organization's activities.
  • Represent the organization at external events and meetings as required.
  • Work closely with the Chief Executive and other senior staff to ensure that the organization's goals and objectives are met.
Requirements
  • Proven experience of leading a Board of Directors or similar governance body.
  • Strong strategic thinking and leadership skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Strong understanding of governance principles and practices.
