Warranty Specialist

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented warranty specialist to join our team.

This role is responsible for managing and validating warranty claims, ensuring compliance with regulations, and coordinating product returns, repairs, and exchanges.

The ideal candidate will have experience in technical service or warranty support, preferably within the caravan, automotive, or manufacturing industries. Strong communication skills, technical knowledge, and the ability to work collaboratively are key.

This position is based out of a regional office.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Validate and investigate all warranty claims.
  • Submit claims to a supervisor for approval.
  • Attend to incoming calls via a queue system.
  • Interface with customer warranty systems and databases to acquire failure information.
  • Handle general claims enquiries from dealers, repairers & customers.
  • Provide support information to quality assurance for analysis of products.
  • Use problem-solving methods to finalize investigation reports for internal and external customers.
  • Enter data into a warranty database for collection of part analysis data.
  • Support administrations duties including but not limited to processing and logging repair invoices and forwarding relevant parties for payment.
  • Translate and produce reports/spreadsheets on claims/payment issues/queries on request.
  • Finalize warranties through recouping funds from suppliers where applicable.
  • Provide support to team members to assist them in achieving goals and objectives,
  • Analyze warranty data to identify recurring product issues, trends, and potential design/manufacturing improvements.
  • Ensure warranty handling complies with Australian Consumer Law (ACL).
