Job Description

This exciting opportunity is available for a full-time Female Registered Nurse, based in Tennant Creek. As part of our multidisciplinary team, you will be required to provide high-quality health care services, working closely with clients, families, and other healthcare professionals.

You will play a vital role in delivering team goals to manage illness, promote well-being, maintain health systems, provide education, and encourage community health action in female health throughout the Barkly Region.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Participate in all areas of primary health care service delivery
  • Undertake a wide range of nursing duties
  • Participate in multidisciplinary decision-making pertaining to client care
  • Completion of health checks, care plans, and team care arrangements
  • Medication administration
  • Facilitate telehealth to promote continuity of care
  • Deliver health education and promotion
Requirements

To be considered for this position, you must possess a current registration as a Registered Nurse and demonstrate a clear understanding of the Primary Health Care system and key issues relevant to closing the gap in health outcomes for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people.

Experience working with an Aboriginal organisation or communities will be highly regarded but is not essential. Please note that a National Police Clearance and Ochre Card (NT Working with Children's) card obtainment is a requirement prior to commencement in this role.

Benefits

We offer a generous salary package including $104,817 - $111,990 per annum, plus benefits such as professional development incentives, relocation assistance, and subsidised accommodation. We also provide opportunities for career advancement and ongoing education.

Estimated Salary: $106,903 per annum
