Role Overview

The InWork Support Coach's primary responsibility is to assist clients post-placement, ensuring they achieve long-term, sustainable employment while collaborating with employers.

In a typical day as an InWork Support Coach, your responsibilities may include:

  • Providing consistent support and contact to all placed clients, at least bi-weekly;
  • Identifying areas where additional training may be necessary and facilitating that support;
  • Monitoring all placements and keeping accurate records;
  • Offering on-the-job assistance to participants and employers to ensure ongoing employment;
  • Coordinating with employers, clients, and team members to help clients maintain their jobs;
  • Assisting in the management of claims;
  • Raising any risks or concerns through the appropriate channels;
  • Ensuring exceptional service for clients, employers, and stakeholders throughout the process.

You will be part of a dynamic, collaborative, and goal-oriented team of employment service professionals from various backgrounds, all striving to make a difference in the diversity and inclusion sector.

Qualifications

Required Skills and Experience:

  • A minimum of two years' experience in customer service or a client-facing role with a solid work history;
  • Preferably, experience working with individuals overcoming challenges;
  • Comfortable and confident in liaising with multiple stakeholders;
  • Ability to work towards KPIs and facilitate placements that lead to sustainable employment;
  • A genuine desire to be part of the atWork Australia mission: connecting people and businesses for mutual success;
  • Possession of a current Driver's License.
