Basketball Event Coordinator Opportunity

We host a variety of basketball games at different times and locations each week.

About You:

  • You are passionate about basketball
  • You have experience in the basketball sports industry, as a referee
  • You are approachable, outgoing and fun
  • You have a positive attitude and a keen eye for details
  • You can take responsibility & criticism in your stride

Team Experience:

  • Welcome and check in Basketball Members
  • Collect feedback from players to help improve games, debrief with the Manager after games
  • Oversee player retention for the next season

Game Time:

  • Ensure the game runs on time and assist with substitutions
  • Referee any calls the players cannot agree on
  • Take team photos during the game

This role involves administration and customer service for our members but primarily facilitating a fun experience. Although you won't be required to work these hours every night/day week to week. Being available between those times is essential. There may be some jersey items to quickly rinse and dry for the next game.

  • Events/Marketing/Sales experience
  • Ability to post stories and photos on social media
  • Flexibility to play games with low attendance

This is a part-time opportunity with 6-8 hours per week. You will be rewarded with a competitive hourly rate, opportunities to participate in competitions and a chance to join a great team.
