As a Finance Accounting Manager, you will be responsible for providing accurate financial support to the business. This role will be hands-on in nature, ensuring best practice, driving process improvements, and contributing to the strategic direction of the business from a financial perspective.

The successful candidate will have strong report writing and presentation skills, advanced experience in the creation and delivery of technical accounting papers, and a strong knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and Australian Accounting Standards (AASB's).

Key responsibilities include:

  • Assisting in the preparation of half year and annual statutory accounts, including project managing and coordinating the Group audit process
  • Assisting with the Group consolidation for statutory accounting purposes, including eliminations, equity, detailed consolidation of PPE, intangibles and tax
  • Drafting technical accounting policies to cover various topics applicable to CFL
  • Responsible for the application of new accounting standards, including leading the implementation of the standard
  • Leading the accounting treatment process of ad hoc or new transaction types
  • Leading the preparation of audit and compliance related documents
  • Supporting the preparation of board and ARC reporting and any additional related documents as required
  • Contributing to Group-wide accounting policies
  • Managing multiple priorities and delivering continuous process improvements
  • Assisting in ad-hoc projects related to financial reporting
