The Role
As the Financial Accounting Manager, you will report directly to the Group Financial Controller and provide critical financial support to the business. This role requires a hands-on approach, focusing on best practices, process improvements, and contributing to the strategic direction of the business from a financial perspective.
This position is a contract-based role, set to expire in December 2025.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation of half-year and annual statutory accounts, including project management and coordination of the Group audit process
- Assist with the Group consolidation for statutory accounting purposes, including eliminations, equity, detailed consolidation of PPE, intangibles, and tax
- Draft technical accounting policies to cover various topics applicable to Collins Foods Limited
- Lead the application of new accounting standards, including implementing the standard
- Lead the accounting treatment process of ad-hoc or new transaction types
- Lead the preparation of audit and compliance-related documents
- Support the preparation of board and ARC reporting and any additional related documents as required
- Contribute to Group-wide accounting policies
- Manage multiple priorities and deliver continuous process improvements
- Assist in ad-hoc projects related to financial reporting
- Assist when required with month-end procedures and support the Finance Manager during leave
