Scholarships & Grants Professional

The Scholarships and Grants Manager will provide seamless operational support to our organization's scholarships, grants, and sector initiatives. This role will manage the full scholarships and grants lifecycle, as well as sector programs - from writing proposals and securing funding, to administering, reporting, and evaluating outcomes.
Responsibilities include:
- Managing the full lifecycle of scholarships and grants programs, from application through to completion and evaluation.
- Preparing and submitting funding and grant proposals in line with partner and government guidelines.
- Serving as the primary point of contact for applicants, partners, and stakeholders, ensuring clear and professional communication.
- Coordinating the design, promotion, delivery, and evaluation of key sector initiatives.
- Managing financial resources, payments, and acquittals to ensure strong financial compliance across programs.
- Maintaining accurate records and systems, including databases, CRM entries, and contract documentation.
- Cultivating and strengthening relationships with funders, partners, and stakeholders, aligning program objectives with partnership goals.
- Championing scholar and partner experience through onboarding, communication, and issue resolution.
- Monitoring timelines and milestones, ensuring projects are delivered on schedule and to a high standard.
This role requires strong project management skills, excellent communication and stakeholder engagement, and the ability to manage multiple programs simultaneously. You will have 3+ years' experience in administering scholarships, grants, or funding programs, preferably within an education, not-for-profit or government setting. Strong skills in relationship management and program coordination are essential, along with demonstrated ability to manage deadlines and priorities effectively. Experience in financial administration and managing budgets is also required.
