About the Role

As a Senior Family Dispute Resolution Practitioner, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping innovative dispute resolution initiatives that make a real difference in the lives of disadvantaged individuals. You'll lead by example, mentoring and coaching a dedicated team of practitioners while conducting family dispute resolution conferences and arbitrations.

You will have the opportunity to collaborate with key stakeholders, drive continuous improvement in service delivery, represent us in forums, contribute to policy and law reform, and support the professional development of your colleagues.

Requirements

  • Be admitted or eligible for immediate admission as a legal practitioner, with a current practising certificate.
  • Be an accredited Family Dispute Resolution Practitioner or eligible for registration.
  • Have experience in family law, particularly in parenting and property settlement disputes, as well as knowledge of domestic and family violence and child protection matters.
  • Demonstrate strong communication, negotiation, and stakeholder engagement skills, with a trauma-informed approach.

What We Offer

A 36.25 hour working week (full time hours), generous salary packaging, employer super contributions of 12.75%, flexible working hours, and study leave for approved work-related courses.
