Job Summary

The Client Service Specialist will act as the primary point of contact for multiple clients and internally managed client relationships around their data deliverables and systems interoperability. This role requires a high level of technical expertise, excellent analytical and communication skills, and a strong ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and internal stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Act as a technical point of contact for clients and their IT teams, providing expert guidance and support on data delivery and systems interoperability.
  • Develop and maintain strong technical knowledge of all systems and applications required to effectively service clients.
  • Lead on business and technology enhancement initiatives, working closely with internal partner groups to drive process improvements and service enhancements.
  • Ensure appropriate operational controls are in place to manage and mitigate risk to the company.
  • Research, analyze, and resolve complex client inquiries, providing timely and effective solutions.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, internal stakeholders, and external partners.
  • Assist in the delivery and continuous enhancement of operational excellence and client services.
  • Provide cross-training and support on data delivery files for all clients.
  • Review trends in data anomalies across all clients and work with internal partners on strategic solutions.
  • Responsible for creating and executing a Client Service Team Operating & Action Plan that seeks to improve service quality, operating efficiency, and team effectiveness.
  • Build relationships with Relationship Managers, Shared Service Managers, and NT support groups.
  • Responsible for obtaining in-depth knowledge and understanding of GFS products and services and how they are manufactured and delivered.
  • Ensure internal and client issues are communicated and escalated in a timely manner.
Requirements
  • Demonstrate excellent analytical, consultative, communication, and judgement skills to interact effectively with global partners and complex clients.
  • Possess a willingness to jump into the data, understand it, and use it to clarify queries.
  • Be able to operate with independence with a desire to hunt out solutions to problems, and be able to discuss this with the client.
  • Develop a broad and in-depth knowledge of the NT systems and associated operational flows.
  • When time permits, invest time on value-add initiatives to help improve current processes and keep informed of emerging technology trends.
  • Core Asset Management/Custody knowledge with experience in Investment Operations preferred.
  • Strong excel skills along with knowledge of Power BI beneficial.
  • Working knowledge of Straight Through Processing – Swift, XML etc.
