Resort Infrastructure Maintenance Specialist

Thredbo is seeking a skilled Electrician to join our Engineering team. The ideal candidate will have experience in industrial maintenance, motors, machinery control systems, PLCs, instrumentation, and telemetry. They will also possess excellent diagnostic and fault-finding skills, as well as the ability to work with electronics and high voltage systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain resort infrastructure including ski lifts, snow groomers, snowmaking, sewage treatment plant, company vehicles, and buildings.
  • Perform regular inspections and maintenance tasks to ensure equipment is operating safely and efficiently.
  • Diagnose and repair faults on motors, machinery control systems, PLCs, instrumentation, and telemetry.
  • Work with a range of electronic and electrical systems, including high voltage equipment.
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Certificate III in Engineering (Electrotechnical) or equivalent qualification.
  • Hold a NSW Qualified Supervisors Certificate or Contractors Licence.
  • Qualification in Rigging and Dogging (Desirable).
  • Current Construction Induction Card (Desirable).
