Production and Improvement Director

We are seeking a Production and Improvement Director to manage our production operations.
This is a highly visible role requiring strong leadership skills, as well as a deep understanding of production management principles.
The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing production at our Mascot site, driving continuous improvement initiatives, and achieving quality targets. Key duties include:
- Ensuring smooth implementation of the production plan
- Supervising risk prevention and workplace safety
- Managing manufacturing engineers and production staff
- Initiating projects to achieve productivity targets
- Implementing efficiency techniques on the production floor
- Maintaining product quality and liaising with the quality team to resolve issues
To succeed in this role, you will need to have:
- A minimum 5 years of experience in managing production in a manufacturing environment
- A strong understanding of process improvement principles and their application in driving efficiency culture
- Excellent stakeholder and communication skills, with the ability to lead and influence
- Tertiary qualifications in any engineering or business discipline
