Optical Systems Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Optical Systems Engineer to join our team and contribute to the development of cutting-edge quantum sensors. As an Optical Systems Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, constructing, and testing optical systems for onboard deployment.

Your primary focus will be on modeling, analyzing, and optimizing free-space and fiber-optic systems for our quantum sensors. You will work closely with our research scientists to advance scientific knowledge and ensure that our technology functions robustly in the field.

  • Design and develop high-precision measurement systems using advanced software tools such as ZEMAX.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate and test newly commissioned sensors.
  • Participate in critical quantum sensing field trials with key industry partners.

To succeed in this role, you will need a strong background in physics or a related field, along with experience in design, tolerancing, and precise optical alignment. Experience with CAD software, such as Inventor, and programming languages like Python will also be beneficial.

Requirements:
