Equipment Maintenance Specialist
Repair and maintain a diverse range of equipment in a fast-paced workshop environment.
- Diagnose and repair complex mechanical faults in large earthmoving generators, lighting plants, and boom lifts.
- Lead and supervise a team of skilled mechanics, providing guidance and direction to ensure smooth workshop operations.
- Provide technical expertise and assistance to mechanics, particularly in diagnosing and repairing complex mechanical faults.
- Coordinate daily activities, including scheduling repairs, allocating resources, and maintaining spare parts stock levels.
- Ensure all repair and maintenance activities are conducted in accordance with site-specific safety protocols and regulations.
About You
- Relevant trade qualifications and experience.
- Strong understanding of petrol and diesel motors, hydraulics, pneumatics, and basic electrical systems.
- Effective time management and attention to detail.
- Proven supervisory experience in a busy workshop environment.
- Excellent troubleshooting, diagnostic, and preventative maintenance skills.
