This part-time role in Wagga Wagga, NSW, involves providing direct support to participants in addressing key areas for community participation.

About the Opportunity

The Community Recovery Model focuses on working with participants to identify natural supports that sustain recovery. As a Support Worker, you will provide intensive support through this model.

You will work alongside participants, supporting them to set and achieve goals, while maintaining file notes and program documentation. Relevant qualifications or experience in mental health support are required, along with a current driver's license and satisfactory police records checks.

Key outcomes include improving quality of life, assisting in recovery from mental illness, and developing self-management skills. You will be responsible for daily, weekly and monthly data entry, as well as various program documentation.

Your Skills and Experience
  • Tertiary qualification in Mental Health or Community Services
  • Current valid Driver's License
  • Satisfactory Police Records Check
  • Working with Children Check
  • NDIS Worker Orientation Module Certificate
  • NDIS Worker Screening Check
