Job Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled tradesperson to join our maintenance team at a resort on K'gari (Fraser Island).

The ideal candidate will undertake preventative and repair maintenance of resort infrastructure and grounds.

This role requires attention to detail, ability to work independently, utilisation of power tools, multitasking and application of workplace health and safety protocols.

A trade qualification with previous experience in resort or hotel maintenance is highly regarded.

This is a permanent part-time position working across a broad rostering system of up to 76 hours a fortnight.

Key responsibilities:

  • Undertake preventative and repair maintenance of resort infrastructure and grounds
  • Maintain a strong focus on workplace health and safety
  • Work effectively as part of a team and independently
  • Utilise power tools and equipment safely and efficiently

Desirable skills and qualifications:

  • Relevant trade qualification or equivalent experience
  • Diverse repairs and maintenance experience (resort/hotel maintenance highly regarded)
  • Unrestricted driver's license
