Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Maintenance Specialist to join our team at a tropical paradise resort on K'gari (Fraser Island). The successful candidate will be responsible for undertaking preventative and repair maintenance of resort infrastructure, as well as keeping the grounds in excellent condition.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine inspections and maintenance tasks to ensure all resort facilities are in good working order.
  • Undertake repairs and replacements of equipment and fixtures as needed.
  • Conduct ground maintenance activities such as lawn mowing, pruning, and weeding.

Requirements

To be considered for this role, you will need:

  • A trade qualification in a relevant field such as mechanics, electrical work, or carpentry.
  • Previous experience in a similar maintenance role, preferably in a resort or hotel environment.
  • An eye for detail and ability to work unsupervised.
  • Strong safety focus and experience working in a similar role.
