The People Strategy and Operations Division manages HR operations and provides strategic support for corporate staff and accommodation services. The division prioritizes meeting client needs, improving policies, and processes to deliver on corporate responsibilities.

About the Role

The People Advisory Specialist will lead the standard of HR service provided to all employees and provide expert HR advice on People Services matters to a diverse VPS corporate workforce.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as a primary point of contact for People Services enquiries.
  • Provide expert HR advice on People Services matters.
  • Effectively prioritize and manage all People Services enquiries within established SLAs.
  • Work collaboratively with the team and others for managing complex case escalations.
  • Establish comprehensive knowledge of departmental processes and policies for HR services.
  • Identify emerging people trends to drive informed decisions and proactively identify ongoing process and system improvement initiatives.

Requirements

A Tertiary qualification in HR or similar is desirable, along with demonstrated experience working in a dynamic payroll, HR advisory, or recruitment function. Strong knowledge of HR policies, procedures, and practices is also required.
