GP Liaison Officer

This is an exciting opportunity to support the training experience of GP registrars.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Advocate for the individual and collective needs of GP registrars participating in training programs.
  • Support medical education through module curation, updates, and additions.
  • Provide expert advice on educational materials to members, staff, participants, and training organisations.
  • Develop and update guides, training material relevant to learning units.
  • Contribute to the evaluation and improvement of learning resources.
  • Assist with day-to-day queries related to medical education aspects of the program.
  • Collaborate with management to inform quality improvements relevant to practice environments.

Experience in general practice performance assessment and education/training development is essential. Strong communication and advocacy skills are also required. Passion for assisting registrars and GP training is a must.

The ideal candidate will have completed at least six (6) months of GP community-based training within the AGPT program. The successful applicant will work closely with medical education teams, Practice Manager Liaison Officers, Supervisor Liaison Officers, and RACGP leadership.

This is a part-time opportunity that offers a unique chance to contribute to the growth and development of GP registrars in Queensland.
