Project Development Specialist

The Department of Families, Fairness and Housing works diligently to create equitable opportunities for all Victorians to live a safe, respected and valued life. Our key areas of focus are child protection, housing, disability, preventing family violence, multicultural affairs, LGBTQI+ equality, veterans, women and youth.
We operate in various community-based settings, including people's homes, residential facilities and secure settings across metropolitan, rural and regional Victoria. The role involves contributing to the entire lifecycle of projects to meet departmental objectives.
Main responsibilities include:
- Assisting in research, analysis and implementation of projects based on defined outcomes and outputs.
- Supporting the development and delivery of projects or sub-projects and their successful completion within resourcing, timeline and quality parameters.
- Contributing to the monitoring and evaluation of projects to ensure departmental objectives are met.
The department may require its employees to be fully vaccinated against preventable diseases such as COVID-19. Please read the vaccination requirements policy prior to applying.
