Project Development Specialist

The Program Planning and Development Specialist plays a pivotal role in the project development team. This fixed term contract position is responsible for driving innovation and quality in our service delivery business.
This role involves orchestrating the development, estimation, and meticulous planning of projects and maintenance works led by our program leads. From operational expenditure to low-risk capital expenditure initiatives, you will be instrumental in ensuring their efficient and safe execution.
With a sharp focus on risk management, you will spearhead the integration of cutting-edge practices and ensure the highest standards of quality in every endeavour. Your expertise will be pivotal in navigating the complexities of project scoping, estimation, and methodological development.
Key responsibilities include developing robust preliminary estimates and safe/efficient works methodologies for emergent works programs, staying in touch with suppliers and subcontractors, and suggesting appropriate delivery methods for planned projects and maintenance works.
About You:To succeed in this role, you will have knowledge of civil or natural resource management asset management practices and delivery methodologies, as well as a strong customer focus/relationship building experience. You will also need a construction induction card, ability to swim at a competent level, and be willing to complete a medical and police check. A Victorian driver's license (occasional travel to other offices) is also required.
