Payroll Manager Job Description

A seasoned payroll professional is sought to oversee the end-to-end payroll process, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely delivery. As a hands-on leader, you will collaborate with key stakeholders to drive payroll services aligned with business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the full payroll cycle, ensuring adherence to relevant legislation and awards.
  • Lead and develop the payroll team, driving accountability and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Implement payroll process improvements and system upgrades as needed.
  • Collaborate with HR, Finance, and management to resolve payroll-related issues and support reporting needs.
  • Provide regular payroll insights and analysis to the management team.
  • Ensure payroll reporting, reconciliations, and audits are completed accurately and on time.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience managing payroll in a medium to large organisation.
  • Strong knowledge of payroll legislation and compliance requirements.
  • Leadership experience with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
  • Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
