Job Overview

We are seeking a seasoned Payroll Professional to join our team and drive payroll operations with precision and expertise.

This is an exceptional opportunity for a highly skilled individual to take on a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of our payroll functions.

The successful candidate will have extensive experience in managing end-to-end payroll operations, including process improvement, auditing, and compliance monitoring.

They will also possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex legislative and regulatory requirements.

Our ideal candidate will be proficient in enterprise payroll systems and HRIS platforms, with advanced Excel skills and experience in payroll reporting and reconciliation.

They will also have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts in a clear and concise manner.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage end-to-end payroll operations, including process improvement, auditing, and compliance monitoring.
  • Ensure accuracy and timeliness in payroll processing and reporting.
  • Develop and maintain knowledge of changing pay, super, and tax legislation and regulations.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure effective payroll system implementation and integration.
  • Analyse and resolve payroll-related issues and discrepancies.
Requirements
  • 8+ years of payroll experience, with at least 2 years in a senior Payroll position.
  • Demonstrated operational experience and technical skills across the full payroll ambit.
  • Prior experience with payroll system transitions, data migration, testing, and system implementation.
  • Strong understanding of Australian payroll legislation, taxation, superannuation, and industrial relations.
  • Proficiency in enterprise payroll systems and HRIS platforms.
  • Advanced Excel skills and experience in payroll reporting and reconciliation.
