About the RoleThis casual position is available within our rapidly expanding Reservations Team based at Base Camp in Wickham.
The primary objective of this role is to assist in processing bookings from diverse guests via telephone, email, and web, while guiding them to the most suitable nature-driven escapes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver exceptional customer service by interacting with guests via phone and internet for bookings, enquiries, and complaints.
- Process guest reservations & cancellations, providing information on local area attractions and facilities.
- Prepare correspondence, maintain records of all mail, and conduct filing according to established procedures.
- Collaborate in Emergency Management protocols.
- Support on-park duties, including travel to and work at Park sites as required.
- Maintain effective communication with all guests and park staff.
- Perform other reasonable tasks assigned by management.
Requirements and Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have experience in:
- Administrative or front office reception roles.
- Utilizing a booking/reservations system.
- Working in a call centre environment.
You will also need to demonstrate time management skills to meet priorities, learn quickly, use initiative, and adapt to changing work environments. You should be able to solve problems efficiently and accurately to meet guest needs, showcasing high levels of accuracy and attention to detail.
