Clinical Risk and Quality Manager

We are seeking an experienced Clinical Risk and Quality Manager to join our team at St John of God Health Care. As a key member of our organization, you will play a critical role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care and services.
Key Responsibilities- Coordinate and Implement Quality Activities: Develop and implement quality improvement initiatives across the organization, ensuring compliance with relevant standards and regulations.
- Assist in Strategic Development: Collaborate with senior leadership to develop and implement strategic plans for quality and risk management.
- Facilitate Education and Training: Design and deliver education and training programs to promote quality and risk management best practices among staff.
- Communicate Quality Activities: Develop and implement effective communication strategies to promote quality and risk management initiatives across the organization.
- Participate in Quality Committees: Actively participate in quality-based committees to ensure the dissemination of information and ongoing commitment to quality activities.
- Coordinate Accreditation Process: Lead the accreditation process, ensuring compliance with relevant standards and regulations.
- Review and Update Policies: Regularly review and update hospital policies to ensure compliance with relevant standards and regulations.
- Experience in Change Management: Proven experience in leading change management initiatives in a healthcare setting.
- Leadership and Team Building Skills: Demonstrated leadership and team building skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire staff.
- Quality Management Principles: Strong understanding of quality management principles and National Safety and Quality Health Service Standards (ACSQHC).
- Self-Motivation and Initiative: Self-motivated and proactive, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
