Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Associate Nurse Unit Manager to join our expanding Emergency Department at Epworth Geelong. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for supporting the Nurse Unit Manager and contributing to the overall clinical management of the department.
Key Responsibilities
- Leadership and Patient Experience
- Deliver an exceptional patient experience within the ward, demonstrating a strong leadership presence.
- Patient Flow and Care
- Ensure patient flow is managed effectively, providing high standards of patient care.
- Clinical Risk and Quality Improvement
- Manage clinical risk and implement process improvements to enhance patient outcomes.
- Collaboration and Integration
- Work collaboratively with the team and hospital executive to ensure patient care is integrated, safe, supportive, and of high quality.
Requirements
- Qualifications and Experience
- Current AHPRA registration.
- Emergency Nursing experience essential.
- Post Graduate Certificate or higher in Emergency or Critical Care Nursing essential.
- Skills and Abilities
- Good communication and leadership skills.
- Flexibility and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Natural ability to show compassion and empathy to patients and their families.
