About the Role

  • Support the Nurse Unit Manager in the overall clinical management and team leadership of the unit.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of clinical policies and procedures.
  • Collaborate with the hospital executive team to ensure patient care is integrated, safe, supportive, and of high quality.
  • Manage clinical risk and implement process improvements to improve patient outcomes.
  • Have a strong leadership presence and deliver an exceptional patient experience within the ward.

About You

  • You will either be in an ANUM role or looking to step into an ANUM role.
  • You are a good communicator, flexible in your approach, and have natural ability to show compassion and empathy to patients and their families.
  • You're keen to progress your career, learn how to lead a unit, and are open to mentoring and accessing internal leadership programs that support your journey.
  • You will have current AHPRA registration and experience with innovation in Cardiac models of care.
