We are seeking an experienced and skilled Senior Clinical Dietitian to join our team at Barwon Health. As a key member of our acute surgical services, you will be responsible for overseeing the nutrition stream and ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Manage the day-to-day workloads of the acute surgical team, prioritizing tasks and ensuring effective handover and discharge planning.
- Organize and oversee the Nutrition and Dietetics student placement program across Barwon Health, including clinical, community, and food services placements.
- Collaborate with university education providers and dietitians from across Barwon Health services to ensure a high-quality learning experience for students.
- Develop and implement best-practice nutrition care plans, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and Barwon Health policies.
- Work closely with multidisciplinary teams to deliver patient-centered care and support the development of client/carer skills and knowledge.
