Job Title: Energy Strategy Advisor

This is a senior-level position that involves leading teams of consultants to have an impact on the market and shape the energy transition in Australia and beyond.

  • You will be working at the forefront of the energy sector, trusted by senior stakeholders in the foremost energy companies, policymakers, regulators, investors, developers, and industry players across the energy supply chain.
Key Responsibilities:
  1. Leverage your expertise to scope projects, manage junior team members, and build client relationships to have a lasting impact on the teams you work with.
  2. Conduct commercial due diligence on new generation or retail businesses, and work with teams to define growth strategy post acquisition.
  3. Work with developers of large infrastructure and green fuel projects to commercially-optimise the design, quantify demand for new products and supply chain constraints.
Requirements:
  • You have experience of at least 6 years within the energy market, ideally gained within Australia.
  • You hold demonstrable management consulting experience working within strategy advisory or commercial due diligence to the energy industry.
What We Offer:
  • We recognise everyone needs a well-deserved break. We provide our employees with 5 weeks of annual leave, fully available at the start of each year.
  • We know that the 'ideal' work-life balance will vary from person to person and change at different stages of our working lives. To accommodate this, we have implemented a hybrid working policy and introduced more flexibility around taking unpaid leave.
About Us:

We are a People First company and wellbeing is at the forefront of our culture. We maintain high standards of environmental performance and transparency, which can be seen through our commitment to Net Zero with our SBTI-verified Scope 1, 2 and 3 emissions reduction targets and our support of the Better Business Act.

We report our progress publicly and ensure that we are also externally assessed and scored through organisations like CDP and EcoVadis - helping us to continually identify where we can improve.
