Leading Child and Adolescent Mental Health Specialist

The position of Consultant Psychiatrist Hospital Mental Health requires an individual with extensive experience in the field of child and adolescent mental health.
This specialist will be responsible for providing clinical care to young people with eating disorders and other mental health disorders within a multidisciplinary team environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- To lead and contribute to comprehensive assessments, diagnosis, treatment planning, and discharge processes for patients with complex mental health needs.
- To provide consultant-level input to ward teams, ensuring timely and effective patient care in accordance with current legislation and best practices.
Skill Requirements:
- Possession of specialist medical registration and fellowship of the relevant psychiatric college or equivalent qualification.
- Proven experience working within the mental health sector, with a deep understanding of relevant legislation and policies.
Collaborative Work Environment:
- Maintain strong communication and coordination with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless patient care delivery.
- Work collaboratively with nursing unit managers and hospital services coordinators to achieve operational and clinical targets.
