About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Lead UX Designer to join our team at Macquarie. As a key member of our design function, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional user experiences across our Loan Originations Platforms.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the design of multiple Agile squads on our Personal Banking platforms, ensuring high-quality design output and consistency across our ecosystem.
  • Partner with our Director of Product to envision and deliver on our Loan Originations Platforms, driving business outcomes and customer satisfaction.
  • Mentor and elevate the work of designers in your portfolio, fostering a culture of design excellence and collaboration.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Design Directors, Product Managers, Business Analysts, Tech Leads, and Engineers, to ensure efficient and mutually beneficial processes.
Requirements
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in UX and UI or Product Design, with a proven track record of leading design projects to successful outcomes.
  • Strong portfolio showcasing expertise in user experience design, visual design, and design thinking methodologies.
  • Proficiency in design and prototyping tools, particularly Figma.
  • Experience conducting generative and evaluative research for digital products.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to articulate design concepts and rationalize design decisions to stakeholders.
