About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Lead UX and UI Designer to join our team at Macquarie. As a key member of our design team, you will be responsible for leading the design of our Personal Banking platforms, working closely with our Director of Product to deliver our vision.

As a Lead UX and UI Designer, you will be accountable for the quality of design output across multiple Agile squads, ensuring that our processes are efficient and mutually beneficial. You will work closely with our Design Director to ensure your portfolio is resourced appropriately and designers have access to the right tools and processes to be highly effective.

You will partner with our Design Director, Designers, Directors of Product, Product Managers, Business Analysts, Tech Leads, and Engineers to ensure our processes are efficient and mutually beneficial. You will also be responsible for conducting generative and evaluative research for digital products, and for articulating design concepts and rationalization of design decisions to stakeholders.

We are looking for someone with a minimum of 8 years of experience in UX and UI or Product Design, with a proven track record of leading design projects to successful outcomes. You should have a strong portfolio showcasing expertise in user experience design, visual design, and design thinking methodologies, and proficiency in design and prototyping tools, most importantly Figma.
