  • Actively pursuing opportunities to source and convert conference and event leads, and successfully shift business from the competition through active engagement with the customer.
  • Providing input to the hotel's business plan and vision regarding market segment and accounts.
  • Achieving all personal and team sales goals to help maximize profitability.
  • Producing and reviewing monthly reports to monitor performance.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Marketing, Business, or Hospitality Management.
  • Minimum 2 years experience in a sales capacity within Australasia with a proven track record of success.
  • Established success in revenue generation in IHG (desired).
  • Comprehension of hotel systems and revenue management principles.
  • Strong understanding of all aspects of new business hunting and strategies for key account management.
  • Proven track record of results, stimulation of higher performance standards, and vigorous pursuit of organizational and personal goals.
  • Demonstrated ability to interact with customers, employees, and third parties that reflects highly on the hotel, Holiday Inn, and IHG.
  • Problem-solving, reasoning, motivating, organizational, and training abilities.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to communicate with a wide range of audiences.
  • Proactive approach to developing and maintaining strong relations with clients and stakeholders, including customers' senior management.
  • Confidence in negotiating to achieve the best outcome for the hotel, client, and third parties.
