We are seeking a Contract Administrator to join our team and play a key role in the success of our construction projects.

Job Description:

As a Contract Administrator, you will be responsible for preparing, issuing, and managing subcontractor procurement and contract documentation. You will also track and manage project budgets, forecasts, and variations, as well as liaise with subcontractors, consultants, and internal teams to ensure smooth project execution.

  • Manage subcontractor packages, procurement, and cost tracking, ensuring accurate financial data is maintained throughout the project lifecycle.

  • Develop and implement strategies to minimize risk and maximize profit, through effective negotiation and communication skills.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify areas for improvement and implement changes that drive business growth.

  • Ensure compliance with project specifications, timelines, and budgets, maintaining high standards of quality and integrity.

  • Support the project manager in identifying and mitigating potential risks, and develop contingency plans to ensure successful project delivery.

To succeed in this role, you will need a minimum 3 years' experience as a Contract Administrator in the commercial construction or fit out industry, with a strong knowledge of contract law, construction processes, and financial management. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential, along with proficiency in project software such as Procore, Jobpac, or similar.

Key Requirements:
  • Minimum 3 years' experience as a Contract Administrator in commercial fit out or construction.

  • Strong understanding of construction contracts, variations, and progress claims.

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.

  • Proficient in project software (e.g., Jobpac, Procore, or similar).
