Job Title: Strategic Financial Partner

We are seeking an experienced Strategic Financial Partner to lead our Western Australian finance operations. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in driving financial excellence across the region.

Job Description

The Strategic Financial Partner will be responsible for collaborating with business units to provide financial insights and recommendations, communicating financial findings to non-financial stakeholders, and preparing and analyzing budgets, forecasts, and variance reports.

This role will also involve supporting strategic decision-making through data-driven financial analysis, identifying and implementing process improvements to enhance efficiency, monitoring and reporting on key financial metrics to stakeholders, and product standard costings.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with business units to provide financial insights and recommendations
  • Communicate financial findings to non-financial stakeholders
  • Prepare and analyze budgets, forecasts, and variance reports
  • Support strategic decision-making through data-driven financial analysis
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency
  • Monitor and report on key financial metrics to stakeholders
  • Product standard costings
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will possess relevant experience working in either a Management Accountant or Finance Business Partner capacity within a commercial environment. You will also require strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent communication skills, and the ability to influence and collaborate with various stakeholders.

You will need to be CA/CPA qualified, have the ability to work in a standalone finance role in WA, and be comfortable liaising with senior stakeholders.
