Finance Leadership Role

The Financial Controller will lead the finance function and champion growth for a local Non-Profit organization.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Staff management, coaching and development of the Finance team members
  • Oversight of day-to-day operations of the finance department
  • Effective management of financial accounting and related statutory reporting requirements
  • Budgeting and forecasting to ensure future growth
  • Liaison with auditors for annual audit and internal audit processes

The successful candidate will also be responsible for:

  • Implementing an improved suite of reporting services and business intelligence tools for key stakeholders
  • Assistance in setting up new commercial entities
  • Conducting reviews with existing customers and assisting in going to market to win new business opportunities

Desired Qualifications include:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting & Finance or similar field
  • Possession of a CA or CPA (or equivalent) qualification, including membership
  • Proven leadership skills with effective people management and development

The ideal candidate will be comfortable presenting financial and non-financial information to the organization and possess strong communication and interpersonal skills.
