Lead a Dynamic Early Learning Service

We are seeking an experienced and passionate leader to lead our purpose-built, multi-level early learning service.

About the Role

This is a leadership position that requires strategic thinking, vision, and excellent communication skills. As a centre director/manager, you will be responsible for leading the day-to-day operations of the centre, including workforce management, compliance assurance, and financial stewardship.

You will partner with an experienced leadership team to drive high standards in early childhood education, nurture a positive and collaborative team culture, and ensure the centre runs smoothly, safely, and in full compliance with all regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide strategic leadership for all centre operations, including workforce management, compliance assurance, and financial stewardship.

  • Champion a Safety-First Culture rooted in Catholic values, driving rigorous child protection, safety, and wellbeing frameworks across the service.

  • Cultivate influential partnerships with children, families, staff, and stakeholders to foster an inclusive, engaged, and collaborative community.

  • Lead the strategic oversight of educational program delivery alongside the Educational Leader, ensuring alignment with the National Quality Framework and best practice standards.

  • Develop and empower high-calibre teams through visionary mentorship, targeted leadership development, and continuous professional excellence.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor of Education (Early Childhood), Advanced Diploma, or equivalent qualification.

  • Strong knowledge of the Education and Care Services National Law & Regulations.

  • Proven leadership and management experience within a large early childhood education service.

  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organisational skills.

  • Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma & Anaphylaxis certification, Blue Card, and relevant clearances.

  • Current Child Protection Training.
