About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated and dynamic Shift Supervisor to join our team at the University of Melbourne. This is an exciting opportunity for individuals who are passionate about security and leadership.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and manage a team of 8-15 security personnel, ensuring efficient operations and adherence to protocols;
- Oversee control room operations, including managing CCTV footage and screens, access control, visitor management, and responding to phone inquiries;
- Maintain effective communication and reporting within the team;
- Utilise strong computer skills for scheduling, reporting, and operational tasks;
- Manage on-site rostering, including addressing absences and ensuring adequate staffing levels;
- Maintain incident reports and documentation.
Requirements
- Full Australian working rights;
- Valid Victorian Security License with Control Room endorsement;
- Certificate II in Security Operations (or higher);
- Full Driver's License;
- First Aid/CPR certification;
- Strong communication skills;
- Proven experience in a supervisory role within the security industry;
- Strong computer proficiency and accessibility.
