Role Overview

The Senior Work Health and Safety Business Partner will play a pivotal role in providing technical advice on all WHS matters and partnering with operational areas to uplift capability across WHS risk management and continuous improvement practices.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead WHS engagement and improvement initiatives with the operational business
  • Set the standard in WHS performance, capability, and risk management
Requirements
  • Tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline or equivalent experience
  • Experience developing and delivering an investigation framework and capability (ICAM or similar root cause methodology)
  • Lead Auditor Health Safety and Environment highly desirable
  • Understanding of WHS legal obligations across all jurisdictions (including codes and Australian standards)
  • Exceptional ability to juggle conflicting priorities and stakeholder expectations
  • A strategic mindset and approach to work
  • Willingness and ability to travel
