Lead Curriculum Development and Foster a Positive Learning Environment

We are seeking an experienced Educational Leader to join our team on one of Australia's most iconic island destinations. About You
  • You are a passionate leader in early childhood education with a deep commitment to quality teaching and learning.

  • You have a strong understanding of regulatory requirements and excellent communication, organisational and interpersonal skills.
Your Role
  1. Lead curriculum development and ensure alignment with the EYLF and NQF.
  2. Guide and support educators in planning and delivering programs.
  3. Facilitate professional development opportunities for staff, promoting best practices in early childhood education.
  4. Monitor and assess the quality of educational practices within the centre and ensure compliance with licensing and accreditation.
  5. Collaborate with other leaders to implement improvement plans based on evaluations and feedback.
  6. Build positive relationships with families, encouraging their involvement in the educational process.
  7. Communicate regularly with families about their children's progress and program initiatives.
  8. Lead regular team meetings to discuss program planning and staff development, fostering collaboration and idea-sharing.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education (Essential).
  • Current Blue Card (Essential).
  • HLTAID012 – Provide First Aid in an education and care setting (Essential).
  • Strong understanding of regulatory frameworks in early childhood education.
  • Demonstrated leadership experience in childcare settings.
