Banquet Chef Role

This role is an opportunity to excel in a dynamic and fast-paced environment as part of a team dedicated to delivering exceptional culinary experiences.

The successful candidate will be responsible for running a cooking section, creating innovative menu ideas, and leading the team to achieve high-quality meal delivery and maintaining kitchen equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the cooking section efficiently, adhering to company standards.
  • Collaborate with the Head Banquet Chef to design and implement engaging menu options.
  • Lead the team to maintain a positive and productive work environment.
  • Ensure compliance with policies and procedures at all times.
  • Develop and maintain strong internal and external relationships.
  • Consistently deliver high-quality meals that meet customer expectations.
  • Regularly inspect and maintain kitchen equipment to ensure optimal functionality.
  • Adhere to WH&S regulations at all times.
Requirements:
  • Demonstrate high personal morale and appearance.
  • Exhibit a positive attitude and willingness to foster a cooperative and harmonious working climate.
  • Possess a Food Handling Certificate.
  • Be available to work 7 days across a rotating roster.
  • Have previous experience in large functions.
  • Hold a tertiary qualification in Commercial Cookery or equivalent experience with a commitment to ongoing professional development.

Candidates will be subject to Police Background Checks and AML/CTF screenings.
