Job Description

This role is responsible for managing financial resources to support the development of clinical research at a major medical institution.

As a key member of the finance team, you will be involved in leading the financial planning and management of cancer trials in Australia. You will work closely with researchers and clinicians to shape budgets and develop financial systems that ensure the success of these critical projects.

You will also be responsible for monitoring revenue and expenses, as well as providing timely reporting to stakeholders. Your expertise in accounting principles, including accrual accounting and ATO requirements, will be invaluable in this role.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in financial management, with experience working with databases and using SQL. They will also possess advanced Microsoft Office skills and be proficient in Oracle 11 and other relevant software.

In addition to your technical skills, you will need to demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively within a team environment.
