We are seeking a seasoned Senior Program Officer to shape the future of cancer research through strategic grants and project delivery.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough assessments and analyses of grant reporting against established guidelines and procedures.
  • Maintain effective correspondence and relationships with grant recipients, research institutions, and funding partners.
  • Prepare comprehensive briefs, reports, and ministerial/executive correspondence.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to resolve complex issues and ensure accurate records are maintained in line with APS standards.
About You:
  • Essential experience in grants management is required.
  • Desirable experience in health research or health-related programs.
  • Strong analytical skills, clear written and verbal communication, and the ability to deliver results in a dynamic environment.
  • Proven stakeholder engagement and a collaborative, solutions-focused approach consistent with APS values.

Australian citizenship is required.
