About the Role

We are seeking a Health and Safety Manager to join our team on a high-profile Rail/Civil Project in NSW. This senior role drives real change in the HSE space for a leading international engineering enterprise.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and conduct project audits in accordance with the Project Audit Schedule, and undertake periodic reviews.
  • Monitor and proactively engage Project Leaders and direct HSE Reports to effectively manage the close out of Non-Conformance Reports arising from audits, and corrective action arising from incident investigations.
  • Positively influence the health and safety culture and performance of the project.

About You

  • You will have a relevant Diploma or Degree in Occupational Health & Safety combined with at least 10 years' extensive experience on large-scale construction projects, ideally in Australia.
  • You will have demonstrated audit experience.
  • Experience in coaching to develop safety peers and project personnel in Health, Safety, and Environment.
  • Leadership experience.
