
Local Government Business Growth Manager

We are seeking a growth-focused professional to join our organisation. This role will play a key part in identifying and securing new business opportunities, particularly within the Local Government and Social Housing sectors.
You'll be focused on understanding each customer's priorities and sector-specific challenges, building trusted relationships with key stakeholders, and positioning our solutions to deliver real value.
Working closely with internal teams and executive sponsors, you'll play a strategic role in shaping deals early in the sales cycle and driving them through to a successful close.
This is a great opportunity to contribute to the ongoing success of our organisation by helping our customers achieve their goals, while driving significant revenue and margin growth across the business.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Create and execute targeted business development strategies
- BUILD strong relationships at all levels within local government and social housing sectors
- Drive sales pipeline growth and forecast accuracy using Salesforce
- Lead virtual bid teams to coordinate effective and efficient proposal responses
- Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs)

Your Skills and Experience
We're looking for someone with strong communication and presentation skills, who has proven ability to build strong relationships at all levels within schools. Experience selling complex software solutions, particularly to local government and social/community housing sectors, is essential. You should also have demonstrated success in meeting and exceeding KPIs, including pipeline metrics, opportunity coverage, wallet share, and acquisition targets.
